It began in 1997 as an aspiration to create fashion forward tee shirts that embodied the laid-back luxe of LA style. Today it has evolved into full collections recognized for their meticulously crafted, clean elevated staples. Helmed by Creative Directors Jenny Graham & Toni Spencer, the collections are created using only the finest fabrics and are manufactured primarily in the United States. Velvet by Graham & Spencer can be found in boutiques and premiere department stores nationwide and internationally.
It all began with a love for softness, fit, and the desire to create the perfect t-shirt. With only $4,000 and a sewing machine, Sharon Lebon went to work perfecting the iconic fit, fabric, and construction Three Dots is now known for. Soft to the touch. Easy to wear. Beautifully versatile. With these core values in mind, our everyday essentials collection is exactly what you need to make your everyday feel even more special. Supima cotton, silk, and cashmere find themselves at the heart of the essentials collection and help create your ultimate wardrobe.
Sofia Kaman has been designing and creating jewelry for over a decade, originally starting her company as Kamofie Designs in 2000.
Fascinated by the allure of ancient jewels, the idea that every object tells a story, as well as the beauty of natural forms and textures, Sofia unites an old-world feeling with a rough-hewn yet feminine touch in each of her designs. Hand crafted textures and an unstudied nonchalance combined with an eye for what’s next and what will always be around blend to for Sofia’s signature style and artistry.
Eileen Fisher’s humble design beginnings date back to 1984 when she created four simple clothing shapes, took them to The Boutique Show in New York, and was encouraged by $3,000 in orders she received. Her next line doubled to eight pieces, which brought in $40,000 in orders.
Since the beginning, it’s been about clothes you don’t have to think too much about. You wear them knowing the comfort, fit, and style is there to lend an air of confidence to your day.
Now, Eileen Fisher has brought that very same aesthetic to women’s footwear, with a variety of flats, boots, sandals, sneakers, and heels to complement virtually any woman’s style.
Jamie Joseph Jewelry has always been about the stones. Giving equal focus to qualities of movement, asymmetry, texture and luminosity, stones are transformed into wearable treasures with gold, silver, platinum and diamonds. Jamie has an artisan’s aesthetic and her collections are renowned for meticulous craftsmanship, signature stone cutting techniques, and an abundance of color.
In 1863, John A. Frye opened the doors to the very first Frye shop on Elm Street in Marlboro, Massachusetts, paving the way for countless generations of Frye artisans dedicated entirely to the art of craftsmanship.
In the 1890s, Marlboro manufactured more shoes than any other city in the U.S. During that time, Frye was one of the largest and most successful footwear companies in the entire country.
During the 1960s Frye made custom boots for a number of well-known people including Jackie Kennedy, Bing Crosby, Jerry Lewis, Barbra Streisand, Bette Midler, Ann-Margret, Walt Frazier, Laurel & Hardy, Candice Bergen, Liza Minnelli, Carole King, Gene Autry, even President Nixon.
The Sixties also saw the birth of the Frye Harness Boot. Inspired by cavalry soldiers in the Civil War, The Harness is a modern icon. Still going strong, it is seen everywhere today from city streets to roadside bars, as well as fashion editorials.
Paul began selling leathergoods out of his car trunk store-to-store in NYC. His casual, down-to-earth ways translated into bags that reflected the same qualities- mellow, leather basics with laid-back comfort. Specialty boutiques in Greenwich Village couldn’t keep his merchandise in stock and soon the ever-famous rock group, The Grateful Dead and crew became fans of his naked-leather bags. As this was Latico’s first lucky charm, it invited many other musicians to seek out our bags. Paul’s fledgling leather company with a rock & roll twist was on it’s way to growing further in the leather basics industry.
Attention to details such as unique artisan linings, unexpected leather treatments and extensive interior organization have become Latico signature features that turn heads from coast to coast. Many of our customers refer to us as a “one-stop” bag source as our diverse collections have wide audience appeal.
It’s at the core of why we do what we do at Alo—it’s our calling. Because mindful movement in the studio leads to better living. It changes who yogis are off the mat, making their lives and their communities better. That’s the real meaning of studio-to-street: taking the consciousness from practice on the mat and putting it into practice in life.
That’s why Danny Harris and Marco deGeorge started Alo in 2007—to spread good: to anyone who is experiencing the transformative power of yoga, to the world’s best yogis like Talia Sutra, Ashley Galvin, and Dylan Werner who wear Alo to practice because it’s the only line that actually elevates their practice, to the celebrities and the fashion-forward who wear Alo because it’s the perfect street brand, comfortable, contemporary and decidedly not just for the mat.
Alo takes mindful movement one step further: a beautiful life celebrated with beautiful design. Capturing what’s trending in contemporary fashion with both the women’s and men’s collections makes it so Alo can travel beyond the studio. Luxury meets performance in every collection.
Hobo was founded in 1991, in Annapolis, Maryland on Toni Ray’s dining room table. Over 23 years later, Hobo has come a long way from the dining room table. However, the brand’s original design philosophy prevails: quality and cool never go out of style. Koren Ray’s passion for creating stylish, yet purposeful, women’s leather accessories, remains the driving force behind the Hobo brand today.

Like so many companies and rock bands before us, Miz Mooz was started in a New York City basement. Thankfully we’ve moved up a few floors since those early days in 2001, and we’re still proud to call NYC home. After a few seasons as an exclusive brand for a small chain of NYC stores, we found ourselves fielding calls from independent retailers eager to stock Miz Mooz in their own boutiques…
From the beginning, Miz Mooz has been committed to the principle that fashion and comfort can happily coexist, and we refuse to sacrifice form for function. With this sensibility it’s easy to spot a Miz Mooz shoe, just look for our vintage styling, hand finished leather, and unique and unexpected detailing.

One of the most respected names in women’s apparel today, Karen Kane has become truly synonymous with style, comfort, and sophistication. That distinction comes from the brand’s namesake and chief designer. After meeting her husband Lonnie, the pair launched Karen Kane out of their garage in Studio City. With little more than a dream to work off of, they shipped their first collection in December 1979. Moving to a new space in Downtown LA, Karen and Lonnie continued to do all of their own sewing and manufacturing before finally finding contractors who could support their growing business.
Karen’s collections are featured in department stores and specialty boutiques nationwide. The Vernon office holds the company’s design, silk screening, research, pattern making, grading, cutting, and customer service departments. Corporate showrooms in Los Angeles, New York, and Dallas assist with sales, as do many retail representatives across the country.
The year was 1987, and for the creators of Johnny Was, it came in the form of a classic reggae song released a decade earlier. Living by the beach in Southern California, while the Bob Marley tune with the eponymous line, “Johnny was a good man…” was on heavy rotation, a clothing line was born.
Johnny Was creates clothes and accessories that embrace a California lifestyle but speak to a global vision, that feel luxurious, yet ready to be packed into a suitcase for a last minute trip. It is about going through life with an ease that’s both alluring and inspiring.
